Lost Dream

I had a dream last night. I am not quite clear as to what happens in the beginning of the dream, but the majority of the plot I recall accurately. We or I depending who you ask, were on a plane. The plane must of crashed or something because I remember being in the water and picking up some guy. I was coughing up red water (which I can only assume was blood?) into my face. There was a bunch of survivors around me, and we all started running in land. Apparently there was some sort of scorpions or spiders in the sand, so we had to run quickly. Somebody said that because I was carrying an injured person I could not be harmed. A riff in my memory and now I’m sitting on a log with some girl. She’s a pretty girl. We were not on any certain friendly terms, just fellow crash survivors I guess. She put her head on my shoulder and I leaned against her. I think there was a sunset. Another riff in my memory. We are not running back to the beach. I don’t think this mystery girl is around anymore. There’s a big dead beached whale from where we ran ashore.  Apparently there was a big airplane somewhere in land. So we run back inland. The plan is to push the airplane into the water. We start pushing, all the while afraid of the spiders or scorpions in the sand.  We pick up speed and get the plane in the water (even with the huge beached whale in our way).

Sometime after I wake up, about 30 minutes late. Yet a feeling of warmness and a strange pleasantness remains inside as I recall my moment with that mysterious girl on that log, on that island.

Resume Central

I stumbled upon a very neat application that I want to recommend to you. The application is called Resume Central and it makes posting, sharing and publicizing your Resume a breeze.

It has a very smooth integration with Facebook so you will feel like you’re using a Facebook built application. It simplifies the process of uploading your resume and even has search functionality built in. All though it seems the application is quite young, I think it has great potential. the first flight

Sure has been a while since I posted. I actually visit my site regularly but for some reason I don’t have anything that I feel like writing about. I guess to add to my unwillingness to be creative, I’m also engaged with a few other things. Mainly it is work, TAing and class. I was until 12 last night marking student midterms. I went to the gym yesterday too, plus I TAed and had class. Pretty saturated day.

Overall I’m kind of mellow. I can’t say I’m satisfied with everything thats happening, but at the same time I’m not discontent. Today for instance we’ll be picking up our new car. That means that tomorrow I officially have a car. One would think that I’d be thrilled but now there’s the issue of insurance + gas costs to worry about.

Lucky Day

Yesterday started off with an unpleasant surprise. I couldn’t find my watch. I was getting ready for work and decided to wear my watch (which I’ve been neglecting lately). Only problem was it wasn’t in it’s usual place, by my monitor. After a bit of memory searching I realized that I had definitely left it on the counter at my work’s gym. Not a very good start to my day as I’m not one to lose such things so easily. Of course my biggest fear was that someone liked it and just kept it.

Premonition

So it seems like I haven’t made a blog post in a few weeks. Don’t have any excuses, just don’t feel like ranting. It’s better to write when you want to not when you feel pressured to keep up with a quota.
