Recently I find myself unhappy with browsing the web. Mostly because there is just too much crap out there. It seems to me like the tubes have taken on the philosophy that the greater the output the greater the success. To add to the fact that there is too much information out there, now everybody has an opinion too. And since this is a 2D environment everybody tries to make their opinion the “loudest”.
A good example of what I’m talking about can be found on Digg. If you’ve ever stopped to read the comments, that shit is just crazy. I’d say over 50% of stories on Digg these days are filled with pointless, misinformed and not applicable information about a handful of subjects.
Maybe this lack of content is due to people not going outside enough because they spend their time waiting for somebody else to post a new “HOW-TO Do ___ better/faster/more efficiently”. Finding an answer to a simple question is not really that much simpler. It might be more time efficient but it leaves me equally frustrated.
I have found a neat application that allows you to post your resume to your Facebook profile and share it with other people.

I definitely agree. The web is getting a whole lot bigger but a whole lot more empty
